Back on Aruba

My name is Joost Boerman an underwater photographer from the Netherlands traveling the last ten years over the world. After all those years I finally found my happiness in underwater photography since I have been in Australia. I purchase my first real underwater housing after shooting a lot with the famous Gopro I felt that I needed to upgrade if I wanted to start printing my work. After six months of living in Sydney I started traveling with the car through Australia finding the best underwater spots at the west coast. After a month and a half of driving around I found my spot in a little town called Exmouth. This place is full with turtles, manta rays, whale sharks, humpback whales and lot more! So for the next four month my gallery will be growing with art from this amazing special Ningaloo reef in Exmounth west Australia.

Back on Aruba

This photo carries a lot of memories for me because everything you see is coming from some where special. The car I bought from my good friend John, my camera is coming from Japan, my strobes from holland and my housing from the USA. The dive equipment you see in the front of the photo my best friend Arno gave to me that he bought many years ago in Bonaire. My dive suit I am wearing I bought in a little surf shop in a town called Exmouth from tom. This photo is taken on one of my favorite dive sites on the island Aruba where I am currently living now.  It has   a little ship wreck on 12 meter with a lot of macro live around it, its perfect for me to do save solo dives and practice my diving skills.  Anyway just a little story about one af my good momorial moments.
